I became qualified as a Wedding & Events Planner in 2015, having worked in the events industry for several years previously I wanted to challenge myself & add specific qualifications to my portfolio. From the moment I began studying for my diploma, I was hooked! I knew I’d found my calling & I set about starting the Wedding Planning side of my business.
I have built it from scratch, shaped it, cried over it, laughed over it and above all, loved and nurtured it into the business we see today. I think it’s fair to say I put my heart and soul into my business.
This isn’t just a business, a logo on a card, or a pretty website. This is my life, and I am SO proud of what I’ve created. I’ve overcome many challenges both in my personal and professional life to get to where I am today, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve learnt so much about myself and what I’m capable of. I have a long term health condition which *should* mean that I take life easier & slow down. However my business gives me a reason to get up every day & to keep pushing through, however bad I feel, because what I do changes people’s lives – even if it is all for just 1 day!
I love my job and the happiness I bring to people on one of the most important days of their lives.
I love the freedom that my business gives me, being able to do a job that I love while also being there for my son, while he’s still young enough to want me around.
I organise a limited number of weddings & shows a year, therefore there’s no conveyor belt of clients. Each party - whether supplier or couple - receives 100% attention to detail.
I only use our own list of trusted wedding specialists, each one added to my database only after working together at least once at one of my own wedding shows, therefore giving me the confidence I need in their work to recommend them.
Over the last few years, I have worked closely with a large number of local venues, meeting the owners & managers, learning about their wedding packages, & doing everything I can to become confident in their ability, creating the perfect backdrop to each couples special day.
I am constantly on hand to answer questions & put people’s minds at rest, you will only speak directly with me – no team or office with different names on each email, just myself, the owner. In working this way, I am ensured to be providing the highest level of consistency & professionalism.
I offer a wide range of services & pricing options, to ensure I’m accessible to ALL who are in need of support.
